Post your favorite brand and flavor of yoğurt
La Fremiere is the ultimate yoğurt imo
I'm boring though so my favorite flavor is just vanilla. But Brown Cow (a high tier brand) has a maple flavored one that is also very good.

That's a fairly difficult answer to come up with....

Silk soy yogurt is soo good

i like it with gronola and fruit (strawberries are the best fruit in yogurt)

I have heard that Noosa has a frozen yogurt line? Noosa is pretty good though their default amount seems wasteful. If we're talking tubs I think Greek Gods is pretty nice (even though the name is an affront to my beliefs)

not really a type of yogurt but i'm a big fan of ayran, the salty yogurt-based drink (see picture below)

Agreed. Of all the non-dairy yoğs I've tried, I'd say Silk is by far the best.

I tried ayran once a few years ago, before I became a big yoğhead. It's good stuff. Might need to give it another try now that I appreciate yoğ more. Redwood Hill Farms has a blueberry pomegranate açaí Kefir that is my favorite yoğ-based bev right now.

Honestly expected Fage to be mid when I bought it due to how dull the packaging was but it was pretty solid tbh one of the better greek yoğs.
I bought 4 different kinds of yoğ from Trader Joe's today so we'll see how all of those turn out. Will provide updates itt.

drinking yoghurt is an interesting concept. though i worry we've lost something fundamental.

It's a different experience entirely, and I don't recommend it as a replacement to eating yoğurt the old-fashioned way. But it is a nice addition to ones diet to be shared with regular yoğ, or an adequate substitute when one is crunched for time.
Trader Joe's Icelandic-style skyr: worst skyr I've had. texture of glue or paste. do not recommend

Trader Joe's whole milk greek yoğurt is fine. Not great, but not bad.
